Information about the Part-time Bible School

A biblical foundation for your life.

First of all, the first-year programme takes you step by step through a series of core topics. During these lessons you receive in-depth teaching on what the Word of God says about these themes.

In year 1, the following themes are covered, among others:

Identity in Christ
Authority and the Holy Spirit
Faith and Worship
Healing & Deliverance
The spiritual realm and discovering your calling

There is also the option to follow a second year. This year contains in-depth topics that perfectly build on the foundation of year 1. Because we value quality, you receive a certificate after completing each year as confirmation of your result.

Although the year 1 certificate is required to enter year 2, you are not obliged to follow both years consecutively. You can stop after the first year, continue directly, or re-enter at a later time.

Finally, we believe this teaching will radically transform your life. Through it you grow as a powerful disciple of Jesus Christ and are equipped to walk in the specific calling God has for you.

Teaching and practice

What you can expect.

Each week you are taught by Mark or by various guest teachers who each bring their own insight and experience. They cover various themes that help you grow in knowledge of the Word and in your daily walk with God.

In addition, certain lessons include specific practical moments. These assignments help you not only understand the teaching, but also apply it directly in your own life. You also receive practical tips for developing a stable and powerful relationship with God.

Because we believe everyone has a unique plan, the Bible School pays a lot of attention to your personal calling. You receive valuable tools to discover which direction God wants to take your life, so you can grow into it step by step.

The three pillars of this Bible School are:

Learning – Receiving biblical teaching that lays a solid foundation.
Growing – Developing in faith, character and your identity in Christ.
Activating – Putting what you've learned into practice and walking powerfully in your calling.

Practical information

Part-time Bible School 2026-2027.

Each season lasts a total of one year and takes place weekly on Monday evenings. Please note that there are no lessons during the official school holidays of the Northern region.

Below you'll find the most important details for the start in 2026:

Start date: The first lesson begins on Monday 17 August 2026.
Walk-in: You are warmly welcome to walk in from 7:30 PM.
Lesson times: Each lesson evening runs from 7:45 PM to 10:00 PM.

Because the lessons are given in person, we meet at a central location in Drenthe. The Bible School is held at MFC De Magneet, located at Grote Beer 20, 7904 LW in Hoogeveen.

Learning

At our Bible School, learning is central. We believe that in-depth teaching in the Word of God forms the basis for spiritual growth and a life fully devoted to Jesus Christ. During the year you receive teaching on important biblical principles and themes from the Kingdom of God. We also focus on practical applications for your daily life. You don't just learn what the Bible says, but also how to understand, apply and pass it on to others. In short, receiving this knowledge helps you build a solid foundation for your faith.

Growing

Besides learning, growing is an essential pillar of our school. We focus specifically on personal and spiritual growth, so that you become ever stronger in your relationship with God. Through practical assignments, worship, prayer and time in God's presence you discover what it means to walk by faith. This also teaches you how to stay filled with the Holy Spirit. We also help you discover who you truly are in Christ. We give you the tools to grow into the unique calling God has placed on your life.

Activating

Knowledge and growth are essential, but we also believe that what you receive must be turned into action. That's why we want to specifically activate you to walk in the unique calling God has for you. This means you learn to apply the principles of the Kingdom of God directly in your daily life. Through practical assignments and focused training you are equipped to serve others. You also learn how to be a powerful witness of Jesus and make a real impact in your surroundings. Our goal is that you not only change yourself, but also help others change through God's power. Together these core values ensure that you don't just learn about God's Kingdom, but actively become part of it!

Mark Boer

As the founder of Radical for Jesus, Mark has a strong desire to train Christians with the living Word of God. Because the Word of God is the only truth, this forms the basis of all his teaching.

When we truly learn to apply the principles of the Kingdom of God in our own lives, it will completely transform our lives. That's why Mark focuses his lessons not only on theory, but especially on the power of a renewed life with Jesus.

Guest teachers

During the part-time Bible School, various guest teachers will regularly teach on specific topics. This provides an inspiring variety within the lesson programme.

Because each teacher brings their own unique insights and experiences, a varied learning experience is created. This gives you as a student a richer view of the Word of God and its practical application in daily life.

Completely free

Teaching without financial barriers.

The Bible School is completely free. We do this because we believe that teaching about the Word of God should not require financial payment. After all, Matthew 10:7-8 says: “Freely you have received, freely give.”

Because we are convinced that teaching is essential for spiritual growth, we want to make as much impact as possible without financial barriers. So there is no tuition fee required for your participation.

We do believe in the biblical principle of sowing and reaping. That's why we take up an offering about once a month. This gives everyone the opportunity to help build the Kingdom of God in a way that fits their personal situation.
